The Application Process

Please read all of the course information and eligibility criteria available on this site and also check for additional information on the QMUL website.

There is one intake per year, in September. Please ensure you apply in good time as processing of applications as described below does take some time.

For more detailed information about the applications process followthe link below:

QMUL application:

http://www.qmul.ac.uk/postgraduate/applyfortaughtprogrammes/

From this page, select the course you wish to apply for and fill in the online application. Make sure that you upload all of the necessary supporting documents – if you do not do this it will slow down the processing of your application.

The process:

When you submit your application online you should receive automatic confirmation by email together with an application number which you can use to track your progress.

When the application is received it is reviewed for eligibility. If you are made an offer of a place this may be unconditional, or may be conditional on IELTS score, production of references etc. Offer letters are usually sent by post although if time is short a copy may also be issued by email.

If you wish to accept the offer you must do so online (you will be sent information about how to do this) and then proceed to online pre-enrollment. However you must enrol fully by sending in fully certified documents to admissions and paying your fees online in order to be allocated a student number and be enrolled onto the online course area.

Once you have submitted an application, please also email the programme director to confirm that you have done so, on m.r.druce@qmul.ac.uk

IF THERE APPEARS TO BE A PROBLEM WITH YOUR APPLICATION PLEASE CONTACT ADMISSIONS DIRECTLY ON :

The 2008 Research Assessment Exercise results showed Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry joining Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial College and University College London in the top 5 medical and dental schools in England for quality of research. In the same exercise, the School was ranked first in London, ahead of University College, Imperial College and King's College.

Endocrinology was assessed together with the Inflammation and Cardiovascular research groups of the William Harvey Research Institute. Within the assessment group we were ranked 3rd in the country with 65% of staff being rated 3*/4*.
